Its been long Im looking for that nice analog warmth tape sound but I dont have hardware gear.I work with reaper audition and waves. I’ve been reading and this presets seem to be the answer for a decent analog soundalike. I have jazz soul neosoul productions and I want that analog acoustic sound.I have other songs with urban R&B and I would like that crispy clear sound of Laface music.Wich presets you think are best for my needs?You can check my website for my music and get an idea.I cant buy the whole bundle just now but I can afford 2 or 3 for some urgent demos.Thank you

Q-clone will give you the curves but not the distortion. You can add that later. Or use acustica nebula which has a learning curve but very good warmth especially the third party libraries. It doesn’t get better than nebula but it is costly to get all the needed libraries like the tapes and consoles etc
My advice for purchases would be for clear stuff get the Superlative eq which is clean and transparent but also diamond topped. Not bright not soft. Clear hardish mixes.
For a smooth mixes – smooth eq.
Scrunch eq may be what you are looking for. Try the demos and see which sound you like.

Im testing and the Superlative EQ pro Full mix buss- warm+ bass is absolutely amazing!. Turns a great funky dance track into a SMASH.
You know how difficult is to get the right amount of bass and a clean mix.This does the job. So powerful.

Im definately getting this EQ like the analog sound but I’ve tested Waves and many EQ. I dont know if you have tried the SSL Duende Native plugins but I think its definately the best. I was reading everybody saying that once you try Duende SSL theres no way to go back to Waves.So I did try and they were right. I mean Waves are great dont get me wrong but the Duende SSL chanell stereo is just so clean that it blows your ears.Elevates the mix to 150% with just a little tweeking.Im not a sound engineer so Im not really into frequencys etc,but just trusting your ears its amazing. The buss compressor is another must gets loud and clear.bit expensive.
My routine lately is. Duende SSL EQ,Waves S1 stereo image,Duende SSL buss compresor. Sometimes I add the waves Puigchild for some color.And then the waves L1 ultramaximizer stereo ,I use it as a limiter at -1. or0.5. Done. Clear loud mixes.
